SPMI IMPLEMENTATION ELEMENT

Universitas Islam Riau has carried out quality assurance by forming an SPMI management implementation unit at Universitas Islam Riau in 2009, namely the Institute for Education Development and Quality Control (LP2KM) under Vice Rector I. In 2018, there were changes in the organizational structure and job descriptions of the LPM Office of Universitas Islam Riau in Rector Decree No. 030/UIR/KPTS/2018 concerning the Establishment of the Organization and Work Procedures of the LPM Office. In 2018, there were changes in the organizational structure and job descriptions of the LPM Office of Universitas Islam Riau in the Rector Decree No. 030/UIR/KPTS/2018 concerning the Establishment of the Organization and Work procedures of the Quality Assurance Institute of Universitas Islam Riau.

At the Faculty level, the Quality Assurance Unit (UPM) was formed and at the study program level is the Study Program Quality Control Group (GKM). In 2018, there was a change in the structure of the relationship between LPM with UPM at the faculty level and GKM at the Prodi level with a coordination line. Thus, institutionally, Universitas Islam Riau has had complete quality assurance implementing elements at all levels, namely the Quality Assurance Agency at the institutional level, the Faculty Quality Assurance Unit at the level of the study program management unit, and the Quality Assurance Cluster at the study program level.
